A new opportunity has become available for a Python Developer to join our Business Delivery team within ADF Health Services on a permanent, full time basis based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations when not working from home.
The purpose of this role is to enhance and optimise Bupa ADF Health Services’ business processes through automation to enable efficient workflow and decision-making. This role will suit a proactive problem-solver that is able to combine business acumen with technical skills to design and build solutions for multiple business initiatives to set timelines and levels of quality in a fast-paced, complex environment. The key performance indicators for this role are quality, timeliness, cost management and stakeholder management.
How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
  • Drive business outcomes through data quality and integrity and deliver data and system changes to support Bupa ADF Health Services’ integration, provider platform and, analytics platform.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to scope, design and build solutions for new work items within required timeframe, cost & quality constraints.
  • Ensure agreed business outcomes are delivered with full business engagement.
  • Effectively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Ensure high quality weekly Project Status Reports
  • Develop a solid working relationship with Finance & Commercial to ensure budgetary stability.
  • Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business for all projects in the Program

What do I need?
  • Relevant undergraduate / post-graduate qualifications. Business Intelligence qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience working in the fields of business intelligence, analytics or data optimisation
  • Experience working with Python and R programming languages and advanced SQL knowledge including experience working with MSSQL
  • Strong analytical skills working with unstructured datasets
  • Experienced in identification, design, develop and implementation of creative technical solutions to solve operational or commercial challenges
  • Experience employing statistical and data visualization tools and techniques; and demonstrated ability to produce business relevant insights
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a passion for quality, attention to detail, timeliness and customer service.
  • This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance.
